State Playoffs Round 1 a SUCCESS!

We won the game Saturday against Seattle Prep! 28-14

Now, we play Kennewick again. We have the home field. We are undefeated and the only game they have lost this year is to us.

Kamiakin is 4-0!

We beat Pasco, pretty badly for them. Last Friday was against Kennewick HS. They called it the game of the year before they even played! Kamiakin was ranked 5th in state and Kennewick 10th. The schools sold tickets during the day since they knew it was going to be nuts waiting in lines. The police dept. had a tailgate bbq that we attended also.

The game was a rough one for our braves. Lots of crazy calls from the ref's! I swear those ref's need to be retrained and learn the rules of the game. We've been saying this for years though. They come up with the stupidest calls and penalties. We scored a touchdown in the 2nd quarter, 7-0. 3rd quarter was still 7-0. 4th quarter was crazy! Lots of penalties, bad calls, etc. Kennewick made a touchdown and we blocked the extra point!! Score was 7-6 until 2 minutes left in the game. We made a 2nd touchdown and the final score was 14-6. What a wild game it was!! Those that missed it, missed a heck of a game. Those of us there, should have been carried out on stretchers!!

We have a date of July 31st-August 2nd for the reunion.

Friday Night: We will be meeting up at 'Pizza West' which is now known as the Kennewick Jackson's. It will be a no-host night.

Saturday Night:
We are having a buffet dinner at the Three Rivers Convention Center. This will be followed by some gambling fun. We have booked a fun money casino games night. There will also be a DJ there to play music for us.

Golf:
A golf time and day is being worked out. We'd like to know how many of you would participate and which day you'd like. There will be an added fee for it. Friday or Saturday?

Wine Tour:
We'd like to do a wine tour also on Saturday. It's about 5-6 hours long. If you are interested in doing this, we need to know that. There will be an added fee for it.

KaHS Tour:
If any of you are interested in a tour of the rebuilt Kamiakin High, let us know. We can make arrangements for that too. We did this for the 25 year, but the rebuild wasn't completed yet.

Memory Book:
We will have a Memory Book put on a thumb drive available for purchase. We'd like to know in advance how many to make up though. Please let us know if you want one. Price will be in addition to the reunion itself.

A picnic is not being planned. If there is enough interest in this, we could arrange to meetup at a park on the river and/or reserve a gazebo somewhere. If there are only a few of us, we'll just meetup and take our chances on a place to setup.
