More Pictures of Linda

If you click on the pictures, they will enlarge for you.

This was Linda's "I'm going to kick your butt if you don't knock it off" look. I got this one more than once too. 1987 Linda's high school senior yearbook photo.
Do you remember the biker assembly? Kamiakin staff still does it every 4 years during football season. 1999
Kamiakin’s history was always very important to Linda. The totem pole is an important part of that history and a cause she was willing to fight for in past years and again during Kamiakin’s remodel. While the totem pole was eventually moved from its original placement as part of the remodel, it was restored and is still a source of pride at Kamiakin. The original totem pole is in its new location, the amphitheater, to the left of the library. The spirit rock has also been moved to the amphitheater and is currently painted in tribute to Linda. Since its completion this area has become a popular social gathering place for Kamiakin students. This was taken the day before Linda's memorial service. After the service the totem pole and spirit rock were surrounded with flowers from alumni and staff in her remembrance. I wish I had had my camera with me to take a picture of it then.

PS - I've heard rumors through the grapevine of a few misconceptions I'd like to clear up for you. One was that Linda died all alone. Not true. While she had no remaining relatives she was surrounded by dear friends who had loved her deeply over many years. The other rumor was that Linda was an atheist. Also, not true. Linda was very private about her relationship with "the big guy", but she has always read her bible regularly. She underlined, highlighted, wrote comments in it, and dog-eared pages containing verses she liked to reread.
