Here We Go - Some Reunion Info.

It's been 30 years since we attended that wonderful high school called Kamiakin. Some of us have great memories, some of us have not so great ones there. We can all say that we attended it at some point in time though. If we had not gone there, we would not have met some absolutely wonderful people to have as lifelong friends! Whether we have been in contact at not, lets make this the best reunion ever.

We are looking at 2 weekends right now. These ARE NOT set in stone yet, so don't make your reservations until we have it firmed up. July 17th-19th or August 1st-3rd, 2009. The July weekend is also the same weekend as the Annual KaHS Alumni Golf Tournament on the 17th. August 1st is after the hydroplane races, so that won't be a problem getting rooms.

We have also been told that a major convention has cancelled the July weekend in Kennewick making it better to get hotel rooms.
Friday night we'll be gathering at a local bar so people can eat and drink. We are looking into some place that has memories for us right now. It'll be a surprise until we wrap up the details.

Our plan is to have a wine bus tour on Saturday afternoon, a sit down dinner on Saturday night, with some form of entertainment afterwards. Sunday is open right now. We would like to know how many of you would like a picnic or we can just have a pot luck at a park.

We are hoping to have a memory book also. We did not do one last time, so how do you all feel about this? We would have it done via computer and put on flash drives. For those who want a paper copy, we would do that too.

I will be posting this in Classmates.com and also on the blog site. We do have a website set up, but not finalized yet, so stay tuned for that. Get the word out to anyone that does not have email or a computer. If you know parents, let them know to pass on the word.
Please post your ideas and thoughts somewhere or email us to tell us what you want. We hope to have the details done next week.
